Proper microscope maintenance will prolong the life and usability of the instrument. Preventative maintenance should not only include cleaning of the optics, but also a complete and thorough inspection and lubrication of all moving parts. I only offer one level of service that follows manufacturers recommendations for preventative maintenance.
All optical, scale, and centrifuge calibrations are performed using NIST Traceable Standards and with procedures in compliance with ISO and ANSI guidelines.
